Oh summer, you’re my favourite time of year. Please don’t leave me. In an ideal world I could feel the warm heat of the sunshine permanently on my skin. But alas, Autumn is on the way, it’s not quite here yet though, so I’m hanging onto summer for dear life. I’m not ready to say goodbye to midi skirts, crop tops and sandals yet.
From the hazy effect on photographs to that warm, fuzzy feeling on your skin. Summer is always sheer perfection. It’s so easy to romanticise! Everything is better in the heat of the sun, even those boring, mundane tasks! The possibilities are endless when the sun is shining.
From the beach trips, to barbecues and driving through the countryside with the widows down. This summer has been amazing, it’s gone too fast if I’m honest. I don’t want it to ever end. I need the heat and constant stream of feel-good vitamin D in my life.
The cooler mornings and chilly evenings are becoming increasingly frequent and my wardrobe is beginning to transition. Those gorgeous summer staples are slowly becoming Autumn ones or finding their place at the back of my wardrobe. Sigh.
