…And so the love affair continues with my Zara autumnal OOTD part II. (You can catch part I here) Red, navy and whimsical prints aren’t the thing you’d normally see me wearing. It would usually be far too colourful for me, but I saw a mannequin wearing this outfit and knew that I needed it in my life. Surprisingly these pieces fit nicely into my mainly black wardrobe and mix it up a little. I have really been enjoying wear mini skirts with thick black tights again. Something I thought I’d never say, as I’ve been all about the midi lately.
There’s just something oh so fun about this cute printed skirt. It adds a bit of personality to any outfit and its rather comfortable too. It is made from a soft, brushed, fine cord so it has a lot of stretch and give. The only downside is that a lint roller will become your bff if you buy this!
The jumper is a soft, fine knit. It’s a basic piece with a slight twist – side and sleeve slits. They seem to be everywhere at the moment! It is comfy, cosy and perfect for layering. At £12.99 you can’t go wrong either!
It’s fun to mix up your style and add a bit of personality now and again. I know I’ll be wearing this outfit all winter long, with a few more layers and a thicker coat of course! I’m desperately hanging on to Autumn at the moment and I’m hoping that we don’t have an early winter. I am not ready to say goodbye to those gorgeous golden leaves and magical golden hour sunsets just yet.
