These days I prefer nice, simple and quick make up. I’ve ditched the foundation and I’m rocking a more natural look, I’m pretty sure that it’s down to a few of the product below! So without further a do, here are my current make up favourites, all of which have been a staple in the last few months.
Urban Decay Naked 2 – Aka the perfect day to day palette. The lighter shades are great for swiping all over the lid, for a speedy and effortless look. For the days (or nights) when more make up is needed, the variety of shades in the Naked 2 are perfect for smoking it up. This palette is the one for you if you are super pale with cool toned skin. The formulation of the shadows are buttery soft, highly pigmented and easily blend able. The hard casing makes it perfect to travel with. The brush that comes with the palette is amazing, so everything your need for you eyes (minus a primer) is there ready to go!
Urban Decay Super Saturated Gloss Stick – This came in my beloved Shattered Face Case, at first I was scared to try Lovechild as bright pink isn’t my thing, but this gives a pink toned, natural looking hint of colour to the lips. It isn’t too sticky and it lasts well for a gloss. Again, it’s another swipe and go product that compliments just about everything! The only downside is the fact that the lid doesn’t stay put.
Collection Speedy Highlighter – This is the latest addition to my make up collection, it is a gorgeous glowy cream highlighter. It gives the perfect amount of sheen to the skin and it still looks quite natural. There’s no glitter in sight in this product which is amazing! It is super quick and easy to use. Nice one Collection!
Benefit Rockateur Blusher – This has been a long time staple of mine. It is the perfect glowy blusher for those with pale skin, adding a hint of colour with a dash of a healthy glow. It is long lasting and the brush that comes in the box is perfect for application on the go.
Benefit RSVP Creaseless Cream – This was a recent re-discovery, in my Passport to Posh box. It is a gorgeous cream shadow that evens out the colour on the lids and adds a bit of pop. I do find that I need a primer under this one though.
YSL Les Sahariennes Bronzer – This bronzer is beyond amazing. As a pale person there isn’t much choice out there, so I never thought I would find a bronzer that gives definition and some serious glow. This is a wonder product that makes the skin look healthy and radiant. It’s perfect for the summer and for those sick days where you need to look human! It blends like a dream into the skin and looks really natural. This is by far my product of the summer and it is well worth the investment.
