Three years of hard work have finally paid off and I can now call myself a Law Graduate. I graduated on Thursday 24th July with a 2:1 in Law from UEA…woohoo! It has certainly been a long time coming (that’s a whole other post) but I was glad to get the day over and done with. I’m not really one for big formal occasions or celebrations but you have to do graduation. I was however excited to wear my dress and do my make up, something I never thought I’d say! So today I thought I would share my graduation outfit and make up.
*n.b My hair is actually this colour the camera has decided I’m still a red head in half of them :/ *
Bag – Accessorize
I’m on love with this outfit, I wish I could wear it all the time! I felt so sophisticated, like I was channelling my inner Dita Von Tease. The dress fit like a glove and it was really comfortable as it is made from a lightweight, stretchy fabric which turned out to be perfect as it was around 28 degrees!
The bag was the perfect size, it had a bit of depth to it, which meant you could actually fit things in it. The shoes…oh the shoes! They were amazing, I have wanted a pair of Irregular Choice shoes for the longest time. Admittedly they weren’t the most comfortable shoes but I had my swollen, sweaty feet (tmi) and uneven grass to thank for that!
The Make Up…
I opted for glowing skin, a dark-ish smoky eye and nude glossy lips.
Base – Benefit Porefessional // Rimmel Exaggerate Eye Primer // Max Factor Lasting Performance Foundation // Collection Concealer // Rimmel Clear Complexion Powder // Urban Decay Glint Highlighter // Benefit Rockateur
Base Brushes – All Real Techniques – Powder Brush, Blusher Brush, Buffing Brush
The Eyes – Urban Decay Zephyr all over the lid // Urban Decay Shakedown through the crease and along the lash lines // Rimmel Scandaleye Eye Shadow Stick in Bulletproof Beige along the waterlines // Barry M Lash Vegas Waterproof Mascara
Eye Brushes – Real Techniques Crease Brush for all over the lid // Eco Tools Smudger for the crease // Eco Tools Highlighter Brush for blending // Real Techniques Shading Brush for the lash lines.
Lips – Kate Moss in 08 and Tanya Burr Lipgloss in Chic.
All over – Urban Decay All Nighter Setting Spray (this is beyond amazing!!)
On my nails I use Sephora Formula X Nail Polish in Black with Maybelline Super Stay Base Coat on the Top and on the Base.
So there we go a little fashion and beauty insight into my graduation
