The Lipstick Line Up

I’m having a bit of a love affair with lipstick at the moment, you may be able to tell! However my make up collection was getting silly and a lot of it was old. So I decided to have a huge declutter and narrow down my collection. Today, I thought I would share my absolute favourite lipsticks that I use all of the time. Oddly enough I’ve found my holy grail ones for each colour category. So without further ado, here’s the lipstick line up…

The Lipstick Line Up

L-R – Urban Decay x Gwen Stefani Rock Steady // YSL Rouge Pur Couture Les Mats in 202 Rose Crazy // Clinique Pop and Prime in Nude Pop //  Urban Decay Shame.

The Lipstick Line Up Swatches

Urban Decay x Gwen Stefani Rocksteady – This is a gorgeous deep, vampy red shade. The texture is creamy and comfortable on the lips. The formula is really long lasting – Rock Steady certainly packs a punch.

YSL Rouge Pur Couture Les Mats in 202 Rose Crazy – This is my perfect red, is is matte and lasts all day long. It’s a throw on and go kind of red. It has pink undertones which are perfect with my ghostly complexion. It is a little dose of luxury. You can read more about it here.

Clinique Pop and Prime in Nude Pop – This is a gorgeously creamy nude that is long lasting and adds a natural burst of colour to the lips.

Urban Decay Shame – This is the oldest of the bunch but it is the perfect vampy purple shade. It is creamy and quite long lasting but I do tend to have a bit of trouble with it getting everywhere. It isn’t one to wear out when you’re eating, unlike the others, but I still love it.

I do feel like there are a couple of holes in my lipstick collection and I’m sure more will appear over time. I’ve got my eye on MAC’s Rebel at the moment and I’d love to dabble with a pink shade. So watch this space!

I love the shade Shame, I've never really looked at UD lipsticks before. Need to have a look at their range. I love YSL lipsticks though, they're so soft x

I could buy all of the YSL Lipsticks! UD is definitely worth a look, they tend to have a finish and a shade for everyone 🙂
