The March Face

March’s make up has been a bit meh and unexciting, but I’ve been liking it. I’ve kept it simple, wearing eyeshadow only on occasions and I’ve been reaching for nude lips or sheer tints. For March’s face I’ve decided to talk about a re-discovery, the Rimmel Scandaleyes paint pot in mercury, it is a beaut! It makes my eyes pop and brightens my face. Without further ado, here’s the March face.

March Face

Base – Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer // Rimmels Sun shimmer Matte bronzer // Rimmel Blush in Pink Rose // YSL Touche Eclat

Eyes – Rimmel Scandaleyes paint pot in Mercury // Urban Decay 24/7 Glide on Pencil in Zero // Urban Decay Perversion Mascara

Lips – Burt’s Bees Lip Balm //  Cinique Pop and Prime in Nude Pop

The Rimmel paint pot is a lovely shade, the formula is really wet and somewhat hard to work with, but when it’s set it does not move. I’ve also never come across a product with that much of a metallic pay off before. There are really affordable so they are worth a go. I really wish they did more shades in them though!

I’ve been opting for a thin line across my upper lashes lately and I’ve really been liking it. It defines my eyes and makes my lashes look thicker and fuller, without being like ‘POW I’M WEARING EYELINER”. I guess I’m trying to say it looks a little more natural and I’m liking that look at the moment. It’s so easy and convenient to do in the mornings.

What’s the March face looked like for you?
