Oh to have glowing, clear skin! Wouldn’t it be amazing if your naked face looked as healthy as it does made up! If you’re lucky enough to have flawless skin let me in on the secret please! For those of us less fortunate, we have to find our even and glowing skin in a bottle. I happen to have found the perfect base combination.
Introducing the legendary YSL Touche Eclat Le Teint paired with the Touche Eclat for radiant, dewy skin!
YSL Touche Eclat Le Teint – This gorgeous foundation gives a light to medium coverage. It is highly buildable and can even out your skin tone and cover redness in one layer. For a really natural finish I use my hands and if I’m looking to get a thicker coverage I go in with my buffing brush. It gives you the lit from within look and if you apply a thin layer you can still see your freckles. The longevity of the YSL Touche Eclat Le Teint incredible, it lasts all day on me without budging. My skin is on the dry side so this does help, my forehead can be a bit oily sometimes, even then the foundation wears well and it doesn’t go cakey.
The packaging is incredible. It looks expensive and feels weighty. The pump dispenses enough for a light layer all over the face, which is perfect. It retails at £32.50 and I always get mine from Jarrold. For me it is worth every penny as it lasts all day and is a perfect match, which is hard to come by as a pale girl. YSL are good at giving out samples, the sample I had came in the cutest bottle and it lasted me around a week. It’s worth keeping hold of the bottle if you plan to travel as it’s the perfect size!
YSL Touche Eclat – This holy grail product is 110% worth the hype surrounding it. It is the most amazing highlighter and gives the skin the look of being lit from within. It is a light and creamy formula that blends seamlessly onto any foundation or onto bare skin. The combination of the highlight and the foundation is a match made in heaven. If you want the look of healthy, fresh, glowing skin then look no further than these two! The Touche Eclat retails at £25 and one has lasted me just under 6 months. It is worth the money and personally I don’t think I’ll ever find anything that comes close to it. The packaging is stunning and the limited edition versions are always fun!
For me you can’t go wrong with this YSL combination. It is well worth the investment, especially if you’re pale and struggle to find a foundation to suit you. Both products are kind to the skin and I think that they have helped improve the quality of my skin – they certainly haven’t made it worse!
All hail YSL!
