Revision can get a little mundane, especially when you’re doing it day in and day out in the same two places. There’s also nothing more infuriating than being inside during this gorgeous weather we have been having. On Monday I decided Ito take my revision al fresco and hit the beach. Boy was that a good decision. The beach is my happy and calm place and a little visit put everything into perspective. Quite frankly doing anything on the beach makes it infinitely better. So today I thought I would share some photos of a lovely little place called Winterton On Sea on the Norfolk coast.
With a gorgeous a beach front that stretches for miles, it’s one of the quiet, unspoilt, not touristy spots of Norfolk. There are also spectacular views out to the lighthouse and down towards the quaint little village.
What a view….
Even a beach makes revision look good!
Looking down towards the other end of the beach, there is a little cafe perched on top of the sand dunes, that sells the most amazing food and cakes. They also do slushies too which made my day!
Look at those scones!!
The village itself is gorgeous, there are roads of cute looking cottages and houses, all surrounding the village green. There is a lovely country pub and a small shop too. The place is beyond gorgeous.
I really enjoyed my trip to the beach, despite the fact I was alone, revising. There is something so beautiful about the place. It’s one of my favourite places to go.
The drive there is pretty spectacular too. You’re heading down tiny country lanes, surrounded by the beautiful Norfolk countryside and the route I took went past the broads, through little villages and past country pubs.
There’s just something about driving through the country on a sunny day with the radio on and windows down!
